There are many ways you can contribute to Friends of Nigeria and the National Peace Corps Association.
Membership: If not already a member, please join. As a member you have access to the quarterly newsletter, and as a dues-paying member you may access the membership database and will receive a copy of the periodic Membership Directory. Dues (at $20 annually) cover basic costs, such as publishing the newsletter and membership directory and maintenance of the website. Surplus dues help fund our projects in Nigeria.
Donate: Our membership has been very generous in helping to fund projects in Nigeria. All donations plus surplus funds from dues are used to fund grants to grass-roots programs in Nigeria. Since the start of our grants program in 199?, donations to FON have supported grants totaling more than $300,000. View our projects in Nigeria to see the scope of our grants program.
You can also help by writing articles for the newsletter, or proofreading, or volunteering for occasional needs that arise, such as planning for the upcoming annual meeting, which in 2021 will be a virtual meeting. Please contact us if you can help out with such ad hoc needs.
Advocacy: The National Peace Corps Association is a strong advocate for the Peace Corps and all aspects of the Peace Corps experience. Please click on the link to the left to see how you can contribute to activities of NPCA.
